IV Alemtuzumab Vs Rebif in RRMS

Type of Study and Brief Description:
This is a 2 year Phase 3 trail comparing IV Alemtuzimab taken once a year to Rebif three times a week in patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. Patients should have a definite diagnosis, have been on a treatment for at least 6 months and have experience at least 1 relapse after being on that treatment for 6 months.

Background:
Alemtuzumab is given once a year, with the first dose being 5 straight days of IV infusion, and 3 days each year after.
