José has worked with the Department of Neurology since the summer of 2002 as an assistant for the MS T-Cell Trial under Dr. Leslie P. Weiner. Currently José is continuing his work as the lead study coordinator for the division of multiple sclerosis's research group.

He currently works under all the center's MS specialist, and aids in the creation of new protocols to extend basic science research to patients. His research interests include the creation of patient databases for the purpose of recruitment and ms population analysis.
