Pat Gutierrez has worked for over 15 years in the USC Department of Neurology. She has trained and has been mentored by many of the renowned faculty and staff within the department. She has extensive experience in academic, basic, and clinical research management and administration.
In 2001, Ms. Gutierrez joined the mission in the fight to end Multiple Sclerosis. She joined Dr. Leslie P. Weiner and his team as the primary research coordinator for the T-Cell Vaccine Study. Since then, she has continued her dedication to clinical trials as a Clinical Research Study Coordinator on many of the MS Center’s current and up-coming clinical and research studies.
Her goal is to maintain and bring new innovative resources to the MS Comprehensive Care Center, including patient programs on novel topics and continuing education for area neurologist. In addition to these efforts, Ms. Gutierrez helps the MS Comprehensive Center provide patients with tools to reach out for additional resources available through partner programs such as the National MS Society and the Consortium of MS Centers, that can ultimately help patients and care givers achieve an improved quality of life. |
